Upgrade BrowserThe heart of our enterprise is a state-of-the art cast nylon manufacturing facility, designed to service an ever-evolving worldwide demand for cast nylon semi-finished stock-shapes.
Our products are semi-crystalline macromolecular cast polyamides, exhibiting extremely high molecular weights. Each grade of Nylon 6 is produced through an anionic polymerisation mechanism, enabled through a chemical reaction process. We produce materials exhibiting optimum mechanical and physical characteristics such as high mechanical strength, high abrasion resistance, vibration damping and extremely low inherent stress.
Our core cast nylon materials are available in plate, rod & tube. Other over 150,000 different variations our production flexibility means you have access to the right material for your requirements.
Placing great importance on the testing of engineering materials, our R&D department and laboratory are responsible for measuring the physical properties and performance characteristics.
Through our Research & Development team, we are trusted by our partners to create new grades of material for specialist applications and custom colour formulations.
Our state-of-the-art production facility allows us to offer one of the widest ranges of material sizes for Semi-finished stock shapes. Our standard and enhanced cast polyamide grades are internationally recognised for their machinability, stable mechanical properties, and exceptional performance in application.
With 4 automated plate-makers we are able to produce the following metric and imperial cast nylon sheets:
Multiple processing options to deliver a comprehensive diameter range of cast nylon rod:
Spun-cast tube capability from cast nylon tube:
Viva Nylons employ both in-house and external laboratory testing to identify, characterise and validate material performance.
Types of testing available:
In addition to this, we can provide a range of supporting documentation for our materials including sample inspection reports, certificates of conformity & certificates of analysis.
